Thank you for coordinating such an awesome event for our teams!!! The level of competition between the Bantam teams was fantastic! We were on the edge of our seat in every game until the final buzzer! Definitely a memorable event! Please know that the time and effort you put forth for this event was truly evident by wonderful experience had by our team and their families. From the accommodations to the schedule, the clear communication and level of organization was impressive! We were thankful our schedule allowed us time to enjoy some of the attractions in Nashville. We look forward to our next opportunity to visit your wonderful city! Again, THANK YOU for making the Country & Western Showdown Tournament possible!

I wanted to thank you again for everything you did for our team. For the first time all season we were able to play even competition and the kids thrived. We won all three games in extremely competitive games where the other teams are rightfully thinking they could have beat us (because they all truly could have gone the other way). We are in the championship game this afternoon and win or lose it has been an incredible experience for all of them (and the parents for that matter). If we would win today it would be as many wins this weekend as we had all season simply because we finally had the chance to play equal competition. I am actually at the airport headed to New Hampshire for the NCAA Skiing Championships so unfortunately I won’t be able to say it in person. I really appreciated you taking the time to make sure we were seeded properly because if we were in A1 it would have been another situation of us playing our hearts out with nothing to show for it but another four losses. Just know that your extra effort made a lifetime of memories for this group. Thanks again and hope to see you next year.

Thank you is not strong enough to express our thanks to you and your team for the amazing time we spent at the tournament. Our families were so excited about how well it was run, how nice the locker rooms were, how nice everyone was. They had so much fun trading pins and meeting new people. Thank you so much for placing our team in the accurate level/division. Our team finally had healthy competition. They worked and played hard. Thank you for everything that had to happen behind the scenes in order for us to just come in and enjoy the tournament!

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know what a great experience we had in Nashville this past weekend. You did a great job with placing our team. We won our first 2 games by one goal in each game. Lost in the third game 6-3. Then played that same team in the championship game and list 4-3 in triple overtime! What an exciting game. Our boys (and their parents) had a great weekend and many lasting memories were formed. I was impressed with the organization and professionalism of the organizers at all 3 rinks. Games schedules were maintained. Ice quality was good, and the venues were nice. Even Centennial looked like it had received a facelift in the last 12 months! And special thanks to Anthony Montini for bailing me out of a late hotel switch. I even met his brother at the rink (Ray?) Kudos to you and your team! Can wait to do it again next year!

I am sorry I didn’t meet you in person to completely compliment you and your family for a fabulous tournament experience. It was so organized, the teams we met were so nice, you matched us really well and took such time to put us in the right grouping – it was hard, challenging, stressful, and ultimately a big win for the boys and wow, we still are on cloud nine. We traded pins with six teams and that was fun too! The hotel was great and I’ve told Erin O’Neill, who was terrific and very flexible and great to deal with. We ended up with about six rooms at the Greenbelt Marriott and others were at the Holiday Inn (2 rooms). Everyone we crossed paths with at the tournament – from the t-shirt table, to the check in tables, to the rinks, wow – it was just the BEST tournament experience we’ve had yet.
THANK YOU THANK YOU!
We’ll be back!
I hope you get some rest, it is well deserved!!!

Thank you for all your efforts in putting on a great tournament. My Montgomery Squirts had four GREAT, competitive games, which is what I think every coach hopes for when signing up for a tournament. No one wants to get blown out and I hope no one wants to just steamroll over the competition. The skills competition obviously takes a great deal of coordination. On paper it does not seem like the kids do a whole heck of a lot of hockey during that one hour BUT I explained to the parents, “Just wait, it is a great experience for the kids.” And it is probably one of the best hockey experiences a kid can enjoy.
I think it is just absolutely fantastic to see all those kids and coaches out there, having a great time and enjoying each others camaraderie. I have participated in your tournaments twice now, and each time there is a true atmosphere of “friendly” competition that I don’t find at other tournaments. Please convey my heartfelt thanks to everyone who assisted in giving our kids and parents a great weekend.

It has taken me a while to write this note but I did not want to forget to thank you and your team for putting on a great hockey tournament over the holidays. Our families enjoyed it immensely. You did a great job with all the logistics from schedules to hotels. Most importantly the due diligence you did up front on the competitive level of each team resulted in a perfectly matched set of games. Every game we played was close and could have gone either way. In the end it came down to three overtimes and a shootout in the final game. Needless to say it was tremendous for our kids to come away with the Gold Medal after all of that and as exciting for the parents as the 1980 US Gold Medal in the Olympics.
